About Alan

Alan Kilpatrick, CD, BA, MLIS is a library director and an information professional with experience in legal, government, and academic libraries.

With a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, he skillfully brings together information services, resources, and expertise to add value to his clients. He brings a wealth of fresh ideas and energy to information services.

Alan has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Vancouver Island University (History & English).

Alan is the Co-Director of the Law Society of Saskatchewan’s Legal Resources department. He serves on the Multitype Library Board (Special Library Director Representative) and the Consortium of Academic and Special Libraries of Saskatchewan (Member-at-Large).  You can find his curriculum vitae (CV) online here.
