About Alan

Alan Kilpatrick, CD, BA, MLIS is an innovative information professional with experience in legal, government, and academic libraries.

With a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, he skillfully brings together information services, resources, and expertise to add value to his clients. He brings a wealth of fresh ideas and energy to information services.

Alan has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Vancouver Island University (History & English).

Alan is a Co-Director & Law Librarian with the Law Society of Saskatchewan’s Legal Resources Department. He is the Social Media Coordinator and a Member-at-Large for the Canadian Association of Law Libraries Executive Board of Directors. Since 2005, Alan has served with the Canadian Forces Army Reserve as a Field Artillery Soldier.
