About Alan

Alan Kilpatrick, CD, BA, MLIS is an innovative information professional with experience in legal, government, and academic libraries.

With a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, he skillfully brings together information services, resources, and expertise to add value to his clients. He brings a wealth of fresh ideas and energy to information services.

Alan has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Vancouver Island University (History & English).

Alan is a Co-Director & Law Librarian with the Law Society of Saskatchewan’s Legal Resources Department. He is the Social Media Coordinator for the Canadian Association of Law Libraries. Since 2005, Alan has served with the Canadian Forces Army Reserve as a Field Artillery Soldier.
